After 12th what should I do for IIT engineering
Hello Leela,
IIT is a hard nut to crack and because of that many aspirants start their preparations from 11th class onwards. Some students even make a decision when they are in 9th class and start their studies accordingly, so in my opinion, you are a little bit late. But, don't loose heart as there are some exceptional students who clear the prestigious exam with just a few months preparation. If you are very sure about doiing engineering in none other institute than IIT, then I would suggest you to drop a year. You can enroll yourself in an excellent coaching center. Some of the best coaching institutes in the country are-
1. IITians pace
2. Super 30 Patna
3.Akash Institute
4. FIITJEE
5.Aspire career academy
you can also enroll yourself in various online institutes like Byju's, ask iitians, toppr etc. But the most important factors to get in the institute is having a never give up attitude, disciplined hard work and aptitude for the exam. Good Luck!
You can drop for one year after 12th if you are not qualified in Jee Advanced in 12th appearing. Now it is the last chance for you .You should join a coaching centre like Allen ,Fiitjee, resonance etc.According to me Kota is the best place to be a good environment for the preparation. You should be serious for nearly 10 months. You should know the complete knowledge/ concept of every topic in each subjects for JEE advanced. You should also give regular test and improve yourself after each test. You should solve various books .
Hope it helps you .
Good luck.
Hello Leela
If you haven't taken any IIT coaching in class 11 and 12 ,then I think you should definitely take a year drop and prepare well in a coaching for JEE mains and advanced. You can easily pass the exam,if you practice nicely for one year.If you have done coaching in 11 and 12 ,then you should try for JEE advanced. You should focus totally on PCM and try to solve as many questions as possible.Study the famous and good books and you can easily get into IIT.Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
