secularindianreporter , After completing 3 year diploma in cs you can do Btech CSE but many of the students after diploma take admission in 2nd year of BTech cse so may be it is good option for you to take admission in 2nd year instead of 1st year and save your 1 year time.

Yes after completion of your Diploma in CS you could definitely opt for Btech in Computer Science And Engineering. Another interesting thing for diploma holders is that you would be getting lateral entry into the 3rd sem of Btech directly but you would be getting additional subjects like M1, M2 again and you need to clear it then proceed with your regular subjects. Btech in CS consist of most of the subjects in depth which you had learnt in Diploma in CS like Computer Networks, Computer Organization, DBMS etc.
