After bsc chemistry what to do

Hey ! There are various career options after b.sc chemistry. You can either go for research work , further studies or job . If you wang to do postgraduation , you can give IIT JAM exam for admission in IITs for M.Sc chemistry. Or you can go for different job opportunities , in government as well as private sector. It all depends upon you whether you want to do further studies or want an early job. I would suggest you to go for post graduation as it will offer you a wider oppurtunities for jobs. You can also do a xertification course like PGDAC (post graduate diploma in analytical chemistry).

Options for higher studies are:

M.Sc. Chemistry
M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry
M.Sc. Drug Chemistry
M.Sc. Organic Pharmaceutical Chemistry
M.Sc. Physical & Materials Chemistry
Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Organic Chemistry
  • Biochemistry
  • Materials Chemistry
  • Nuclear Chemistry

After doing higher studies in the field, there will be a great improvement in the number of job opportunities for them.

You should obtain B.Sc in Chemistry from a recognised University. They should also score at least 50% marks in the degree level to pursue higher studies from any recognized University. Some Universities also put forward certain other eligibility criteria apart from the academic qualification for admission into the courses offered in those Universities.
