Hello, you can  go for higher studies after completing your civil engineering diploma, take jobs in government jobs like clerical, apprentice, technician, supervisor positions in various government departments there are also some  lab assistant jobs in various govt. universities.Indian Railways,National highway authority of India(NHAI)
ONGC, DRDO ,etc are some examples of government recruiters.
You can also take jobs in private sector examples are construction and developer firms, contractors, building material supply firms. So, finally it's up to you how much time you devote to your studies and field. You can take a good job with a good package if you work hard and learn new things which are required for industry. diploma in civil engineering is a 3 year course . There are plenty of job option you can go into government sector for this you need to give some government exams. Also there are some job opportunities in private sector . It depends on what sector you want to make a career in. You can also plan for your further studies.
