First of all neet is not a course to have a duration, it is just an entrance examination through which admission is provided in mbbs, bds etc , in case if you mean the time gap between your 12th board examination and neet examination then in ideal conditions neet examination is conducted oon the 1st sunday of May every year and board examination is conducted in the month of March, So in ideal conditions there's gap of 1 month i. e month of April between board exam and neet .

Neet eligibility criteria is provided below:-

To be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

• at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

• at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2022 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2022
