Dear aspirant,
Honestly, only b.tech in biotechnology does not have much scope in india. You have to do masters after that. And i would suggest you if you don't have any financial issues and your family is open to send you abroad for further studies then kindly grab this opportunity.
But if you have problems then kindly go for reputed colleges in India like IITs/nits. In IITs it would be best in terms of return of investment if you are able to get iit Madras.
Once if you have completed your masters you can easily earn upto 10-12L per annum.
