Hi Ravi,
In order to be reaching in any law-university, you need to be eligbile as per the criteria set up by them. Mostly, for the position of Teaching Assistant, an LLM is enough. However, for the posts of Assistant Professor and Professor, many colleges require you to qualify the NET-UGC Examination or requires you to have a Ph.D degree. If there is anything else you need to know about scope after pursuing an LLM, keep reading Careers 360 using the link given below: https://law.careers360.com/articles/law-in-india-honourable-career
Thanks,
Hello Ravi,
As per the notification of Bar Council you have to clear UGC NET or even people who have done PhD can apply for assistant professor in any recognised law college.
However, you can apply for teaching assistant post in colleges that take people as a faculty after they do LLM.
Keeping visiting the website of different Law colleges/universities that are approved by Bare Council to see if they have vacancies and you may get in any one of the Law colleges.
Thank You
