Hi Hemendra,

After completing the Special Forces(SF) training the candidates can choose to opt for Para SF unit for which they have to train an additional 3 months where they are trained on more specialized tasks such as high altitude jumps( 33,000 feet), endurance training, specialized combat training, etc.

Once the candidate completes the training and the probation period, he/ she receives the Maroon Beret and the dagger of the Special Forces. Post this phase they are allocated to various sensitive locations such as Kashmir, Jaisalmer, and other classified locations where they are deployed at classified missions and undergo classified operations.
