Hi,

Yes,you can apply for UPSC civil services exam after completing the computer science engineering degree. Infact from the past few years most of the engineering student are getting qualified the upsc civil services exam.

The basic educational eligibility to apply for the upsc civil services exam is a candidate should pass a graduation degree from a recognized institution.

This is because,

To be eligible for UPSC examination one needs to be a  graduate in any discipline and Engineering is an undergraduate course , so after your computer science engineering you will be eligible as :

UPSC eligibility criteria says that:-

*You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline like BA, Btech, Bsc , bcom etc from a recognised university

*Minimum age limit :-  21 years

*Maximum age limit :-  32 years , also there's 3 year relaxation on upper age limit for obc and of 5 years for sc/st category
