Hello,

some universities, such as Manipal University and Lovely Professional University, allow lateral admission into their second year of study. A student must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy with 50 percent marks in the first and second years, as well as Science group courses in the Higher Secondary School Examination, to be eligible for lateral entry.

Candidates who have obtained a Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 45 percent (40 percent in the case of SC/ST category) in aggregate of the examination from AICTE and PCI approved institutions may be allowed admission to the second year of the course, provided that Diploma holders in Pharmacy admitted directly to B.Pharm second year must pass those subjects of B.Pharm first year that they did not cover during the D.Pharm course.

Goodluck

I hope this information is useful to you.
