Kuldeep, there are colleges that allow lateral entry to B.Tech 2nd year right after your Diploma. However each State has its own admission procedure. For example West Bengal has VOLCET for students who want to study B.Tech after Polytechnic through Lateral entry. Every State has its own entrance exam for lateral entry.
