Hello.
Students who are interested in the field of Engineering , Technology and Biology will find this Branch attractive and suitable. It is because of the fact that this Engineering branch is a combination of both Engineering as well as Biology subjects. A course very similar to this Engineering branch is B.Sc. Biotechnology . But B.E./B.Tech. Degree has more value than B.Sc. Degree.

Hello Ayush
A candidate chooses to go for B.tech in biotechnology if he/she wants to take up a research oriented field. So, just getting a graduate degree is not enough, one also needs to study further for a masters degree or even getting a doctorate. Only then they are eligible to get a good job. If one doesn't wish to study further then then they can hone up their skills in any one programming languages which is taught during the four years of bachelors and easily get a job in the IT sector. Also if you choose to study further, you can work as a research scholar in an educational institute or an independent scientist in some R&D department of a biotech. Companies like TCS, Infosys etc conducts campus placements in some colleges . Meritorious students can also get placed in biotech companies. BCIL BITP programme is another option for biotech engineers where this programme provide training of 6 months and this also opens doors for you in the Biotech sector.
Good Luck!
