After doing PG diploma in human rights , can I apply for clat? (My qualification is bsc life sciences.)
Hi Sanjana!
It's great to see you on our platform.
If you have already completed your graduation and if you are willing to make a career in legal studies then you can write the LLB entrance exams of various universities like Delhi University, Maharashtra University, Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University, Osmania University etc.
I'll tell you the difference between CLAT and LLB entrance examinations.
CLAT is for students who have only cleared their Class XII boards recently. Clearing CLAT enables the student to study for 5 years to get dual degrees of either BA LLB or BSc LLB or BCom LLB depending upon the students choice of subject of Arts, Science or Commerce in Class XI-XII.
LLB is for graduate students. Basically, LLB entrance examinations can be written by anyone who has a graduation degree in any subject from any recognised university. Post graduates can obviously apply for the same. LLB is a 3 years course on completion of which you get the LLB degree.
So as you are already a graduate it will be better for you to write the LLB entrance examinations of various universities.
I'm attaching the link of Delhi University's LLB entrance exams for further information:

Please feel free to post further queries on our platform.
