hi,

I assume you are asking about new york film academy. see there is both masters and bachelors courses related with filmography is available In nyfa.

however if you go for mechanical engineering and passed bachelors course, you would be eligible to apply for masters course in engineering. now the masters courses available in nyfa , which desirable  eligibility criteria is, students must completed a graduate degree on fine arts. so if you pursued the engineering it would not help you to make next move on masters course in fine arts. so it would be better for you , you do bachelors course related with filmography or fine arts , after that you can definitely apply for nyfa.
