As many times as you want.If you choose "have you graduated?" option yes then you can find graduation year over 2000,so they didn't restrict over any gap year,and if you choose the option 'no' then you will find graduation year that year you apply for the application and the year you applied for,like if you apply for 2022 then you can find graduation year 2021 and 2022 so if you are in 2 nd year of your bsc Hons then you will not eligible for jam.For more details you can check any online application procedure full video you will understand.

Hello, There are no restrictions for the number of attempts in IIT JAM Exam. But if you want to appear in JAM Exam, then you must satisfy all the eligibility conditions required to appear in the exam. IIT JAM Exam is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, prepare yourself well for the exam. IIT JAM Exam will be conducted in the month of February 2022. So, you have enough time left for the preparation.

A student can appear for IIT JAM two times. The first attempt is in its final year and the 2nd attempt is 1 year past graduation. So for example if you are graduating in 2022, then you are eligible for IIT JAM 2022 and 2023.
Apart from this there is a 55% or 6 CGPA criteria for eligibility. Although in IIT JAM 2022 the eligibility criteria is waived.
