Hey Nikita,
After MBBS in Russia, for further practice in India, it is compulsory to give Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) . Once you clear this exam, you will be equivalent to those who have done their MBBS from India.
Keep in mind, even after you clear the MCI Screening Test, you need to do 1 year internship to fulfill the eligibility criteria orelse you'll remain unemployed in India.
Also, hardly 15-20% foreign graduates qualify the exam. If you dont qualify , you cannot practise medicine in India and hence you're not a doctor here. So, please rethink before going to foreign medical universities.
And the NMC bill is still pending which proposes to merge the FMGE and NEET-PG to a single examination 'NEXT 'which would serve as the screening test for doctors with foreign medical qualifications in order to practice in India.
So, scope is same as any other doctor from India once you qualify FMGE.
Hope it helps, good luck!
