after paying 1 lakh in online process, if we are not intrested in amrita buisness school for MBA . how much is refundable in that 1 lakh
Amrita Business School has notified the policy of refund of the fees, in case of withdrawal of admission by candidates. Amrita Business School follows the AICTE/ UGC guidelines for fee refund policy issued from time to time.
According to the UGC guidelines, a full refund of fees shall be made by the college on account of all cancellations of admission of students up to Sept 30, 2024 and with a deduction of not more than Rs. 1,000, as a processing fees, up to Oct 31, 2024.
For any admission schedule extending/ commencing beyond/ after Oct 31, 2024, the provisions contained in the UGC notification issued on refund of fees and non-retention of original certificates shall apply as mentioned below:
- 100% refund if the point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is received is 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission.
- 90% refund if the point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is received is less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission.
- 80% refund if the point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is received is 15 days or less after the formally notified last date of admission.
- 50% refund if the point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is received is 30 days or less, but more than 15 days after formally notified last date of admission.
- No refund if the point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is received is more than 30 days after formally notified last date of admission.
Therefore, the percentage refund of the fees will depend upon the time when you have given the notice of withdrawal of admission.
