After PhD in biotechnology what are the professions we can choose

Biotech is a developing branch in recent years. It has a long years to grow to its fullest. Which means, there are more inventions which are welcomed there. To contribute to the growth of biotech field, one has to do research on it.
1. So, as a PhD in biotech, you can join research wing of many companies or institutions and work for the growth of your department. You will get jobs even in government vacancies. For instance, DRDO is doing considerable amount of research in biotech field, and also you can work with development of medical equipment in association with both govt and private organizations.
2. As a PhD, you are very much qualified to be a professor in universities and colleges. Being a professor is not just pride, but you get a lot of opportunities to work with top people in your field all over the nation and even world. Additionally, you can pursue your own research in the same university and publish papers. This is great indeed.
3. Apply for foreign university (post-doc) and become a researcher in foreign universities. Through this you can be either professor + researcher or an employee + researcher or professor + employee (in university tech support).
nevertheless, you have lot of other simpler options like working in a company, medical assistant, medical coding, manufacturing equipment for med and agriculture, micro biologist, bio chemist, and a lot more.
So, it is worth doing PhD in biotech in any sub field.
