Hello Manisha

The B.F.Tech trains students to be employed in the apparel manufacturing industry. The course teaches you the basics of textiles, fashion & gives you highly technical inputs related to pattern making, Garment construction, Apparel machinery, Apparel production. Also there are subjects from computer streams like RDBMS,VB.NET, AUTOCAD, ERP which are meant to introduce to the softwares used in the industry.

A student can be placed either in manufacturing, quality control, production planning, merchandising in an apparel manufacturing company (generally either a exporter or a domestic brand)

Few students have gone on to become technical consultants for fashion specific ERP

Of late a new trend of B.FTech students entering front end, i.e. retail is seen where they take up jobs in retail SCM and in retail planning.
