After UGC guidelines on 22nd September 2020,VIT,Vellore has not amended its refund policy.

Hey you don't need to worry about this as UGC is the supreme authority and VIT Vellore would definitely have to follow the guidelines.
Just like any other private college VIT Vellore is trying to to turn out maximum money from their students.
They haven't change their refund policy yet but they would soon change it you don't need to worry.
