a gap pf two years should never be a problem if you could show the panel some internship experience, volunteering experience, some technical certifications or combination of anyone of them.
If you are expecting low score, you should focus well on your GDPI skills by reading daily newspapers and current affairs and giving mock GDPIs which will fill your weightages.
Your work experience is your asset and will give you an edge over others.
Advised not to take break again to create more gaps and target all colleges under top 40 rankings by Forbes in India.

In this year CAT ,I will be having 1 year gap after work experience and frankly saying this year got wasted due to Bank of Baroda scale 2 marketing manager selection as recently they gave me rejection in final merit list because I was not having MBA in marketing of Two years degree , so I don't think I will score good in this year's CAT , so if I target CAT 2019 then I will be having 2 years gap at that time , please advice in these situations

You can definitely go with 2years gap and prepare well for Cat 2019, but for the panel you need to show what extra you have done in those 2yrs so it doesnt appear as gap, you can show some volunteer experience as well as certificate courses viaonline from Coursera and Edx.

Sorry for clerical error it's not 2019 ,it's 2018 i.e next year but I have big fear whether I would be able to do CAT 95 percentile level preparation or not becoz next year after having 2 yrs gap if I am unable to get into top B- school then it will make my CV negative ..... Please advice, I know I am troubling you alot but I hope you can understand my situation at this point of my career what I am going through

The gap of two years will not be a problem if you could provide a logical reason for the gap. There are a lot of people who have a gap due to various reasons like venturing into entrepreneurship, coaching for civil service etc. There are even people who are freshers with more than two years of a gap after graduation in IIMs. Repeating CAT will be a personal choice. If you believe that you could score better next CAT, repeat will be a better choice.

You are having an excellent profile with your work experience which is an advantage both for admissions and placements.

Considering your two years gap it can be a minor issue in colleges where interview shortlist is made on the basis of profile of the candidates along with the CAT percentile. However chances are very low that any institute will deny you an interview call for this. Most of the institutes shortlist only on the CAT percentile for interviews and there you will easily get a chance for the interview.

In the interview this question regarding the gap can be asked and you need to justify it to the panel about the same. However it is possible to convince them and it totally depends on your arguments. You will always have a big advantage when companies visit for placements in any institute.

However you have sufficient time this year to revise the concepts and master the Mocks. Try to analyse your performance and mark your weak areas and make an Strategy accordingly. If you get an institute of your choice this year it will be good for you to take admission.

All the best!
