Admission in NITs is completely on the basis of jee main rank, there's no need of jee advanced for it.
Jee advanced is required just for IITs.
So, irrespective of whether you pass or fail or even if you don't attempt jee advanced, you can get admission in NITs on the basis of jee main rank.
Here are the steps to get admission in NITs for Btech:-
---------------------------) Appear in jee main
To be eligible for appearing in jee main for BE/Btech, you must have passed or should be appearing for 12th/equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of :-
----)Chemistry
-----)Biotechnology
-----)Biology
----) Technical Vocational subject.
You are eligible for JEE main examination for only consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination. You can get complete eligibility criteria at:-
