Hello,

Yes, applicants will be able to withdraw a seat after accepting it, but only until the final round of seat distribution for the JoSAA 2021. After subtracting the processing cost of Rs. 1500, the seat acceptance fee will be reimbursed to the applicants. After the release of the last round of JoSAA seat allocation for 2021, no seat withdrawals will be allowed.

How to Remove a Seat

Go to the JoSAA website.

Fill in the account information for the return of the seat acceptance charge.

In JPG format, provide an image of a cancelled check from the same account.

Download the letter requesting a withdrawal.

Candidates and their parents must sign the letter after downloading it.

I hope this information is useful.
