Dear Jawahar, as per the rankings released by NIRF AIIMS New Delhi is ranked first among all the medical colleges.
If you want to compare then AIIMS New Delhi is the best. After if you are getting govt medical colleges in New Delhi like MAMC, VMC then you should choose them against JIPMER.
Also, MAMC, VMC these colleges are better than other AIIMS except AIIMS New Delhi. Many students prefer them over other AIIMS.

Dear Jawahar, AIIMS and JIPMER are the only 2 autonomous Medical Institutions that have their individual entrance examinations for admissions to their respecrive Medical Colleges. The fact that they have been able to retain autonomous status speaks volumes about their standards. AIIMS has around 12 branches with almost 1200 seats in MBBS alone. JIPMER has just branches accomodating 200 seats. Every year Lakhs of students appear for this exams. In 2018, the cut off for Delhi branch for General Category was 99.743%. It is nothing less for JIPMER either. So when the cut offs are higher, it is for 2 reasons. One is limited seats and the second is huge demand. Any beauracrat falling ill is first taken to AIIMS given the qualitybof research and services available. This is not belittling any other hosputal but to just point out the reputation of AIIMS and JIPMER. So to name one as the best among them means doing injustice to the other. If I were in your place, I would grab any opportunity that places me in any of these institutions. Infrastructure, Faculty and Research Options in both these Institutions as world class.
