AIIMS Rishikesh Medicine vs RIMS Imphal Surgery. I am from Imphal and I like both subjects equally and wish to do further specialisation.

Hi Black paradox,

If you don't have any problem in studying both the courses then I will like to suggest you to take general surgery at RIMS Imphal.

The field of surgery is very difficult but at the same time requires one's full dedication and will eventually give you better benefits in return.

Further after general surgery you can go for M.Ch in other specialisation like cardiac surgery or neurosurgery or nephrology.

The main point is that surgery will be much more intense and rigorous that medicine but will benefit you more as well in developing your brain and critical activity enhancement.

I hope this information helps.

All the best!

May I ask the benefits of choosing AIIMS Rishikesh Medicine? Pros and cons? Since it is relatively new, I am a bit hesitant.

Yes that is my point. AIIMS Rishikesh is relatively new and not that advanced like other AIIMS and I was suggesting you to go more for surgery than medicine, because of which I suggested you take RIMS Imphal.
