I would say PG matters more.Because i uave seen doctors who have done their MBBS from not very famous or reputed medical colleges but then they get selected in AIIMS and PGI. And then that becomes their identity.

So try to give in your best whether for UG or PG.

All the best!

Hi Sri,

it seems that you want to merge both the side of coins on the single face.

AIIMS UG and AIIMS PG are both of different level and have different eligibility criteria.

For AIIMS PG you must be a MBBS or BDS graduate from any MCI affiliated college and only hten you would be able to appear for AIIMS PG entrance exam.

For AIIMS UG, you need to be a 12th paas student with the eligibility criteria cleared off.

Hope this migth helps you.

Hello Sailesh.

You are talking about two different exams for two entirely different courses.

AIIMS is the best Institute for medicine in India, completing undergraduation or post graduation will have a tremendous impact on your resume.

The level of discussion which happens at AIIMS is overwhelming.

If you can crack both then no doubt your salary will.be huge.

Goodluck

Hi Sri, For doing AIIMS PG first we have to clear MBBS, For MBBS exams that we can apply are NEET/ AIIMS/JIPMER....Now coming to what matters....both matters a lot...A tag of a institute like Aiims in UG or PG or both will enhance to spread your name in initial period of career....What matters in long run specially in private practice is Subject Knowledge, Communication skills, Ability to judge & decide in based interest of patient in any given situation......
Hopefully it helps

Both matters a lot you need to do Aiims UG in which they will teach you all the basic knowledge about medical science.

If you want to get a job in a good hospital you need to do PG i.e. specialization in some course. This will increase your value and make you a better doctor. And if you're going in medical field so it's better to be specialized and had done lots of practice because  life of people will be in your hands.

One of my friend scores AIR 19 in Aiims exam then completed his UG from there and after practising for an year he is right now again doing PG from Aiims so it's a good option. You should go for PG it will definitely make you earn a lot. Having a M.D. degree I with MBBS makes you a lot better.
