Make sure you fulfill the given criteria-
- You should pass the 10+2 board exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or equivalent AICTE approved 3-years engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics at the time of admission.
- You must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in 10+2 in PCM or equivalent.
- Candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech Courses are also eligible for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
- Your age should be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.
- You must not have colour blindness and any physical disabilities.
The admission process involves appearing for entrance exams. After qualifying for the entrance test, the candidates will be granted admission to one of the DGCA approved institutes on the basis of their ranks and the counselling process. The entrance exams carry three to four sections, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Awareness and English for candidates who have passed the 10+2 board exam. For the candidates who hold a three-year Diploma in Engineering/BTech/Higher qualification in Science with PCM, the sections of the AME entrance exam will be English, General Awareness and Aptitude Test.
