National Law School,Banglore

NLU,Delhi

Hello Kamlesh,

Congratulations for the success in the examination. The cut off ranks of the colleges depend on various factors, which are:

Difficulty Level of the Exam – If the written question is easy then the cut off is expected to be higher and vice versa

Total number of requests received - If the total number of requests received is less, the deadline is expected to be released

Total Number of Candidates Qualifying CLAT Exam – If the total number of qualifying candidates is less than the total number of seats then the cut off will be low

Total Number of Seats – If the total number of seats is revised and increased, the cutoff is expected to remain low

Previous year cut offs – In the top NLUs the cut offs were high in the previous years and hence only the best candidates could make it to the final admission. For other NLUs, the threshold values are relatively low.

There are many NLUs whose closing rank is way below your rank so you can definitely look forward to them like NLU BHOPAL, NLU HYDERABAD, NLU PATIALA, NLU PATNA, NLU BANGALORE etc.

Following is the link you can use to check for the previous year cut offs of NLUs:

Thank you!!

Hello aspirant,

Here you have not mentioned your caste, so it is quite difficult to give the accurate answer. But if you belong to general category then getting NLU at this rank is near to impossible. But you don't need to worry, there are many private universities which will offer you seats at this rank.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.
