For attempting jee advanced, you should try to get at least around 90 percentile in jee main

No, you cannot attempt JEE advanced without qualifying JEE main as it is mandatory to qualify JEE main to be eligible for JEE advanced

JEE advanced eligibility criteria is given below :-
---------------------) you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th was lifted off.
5 Subjects to be considered for calculating aggregate percentage are :-
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
A language
Any subject other than listed above
----------------------) You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2022 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2022 or 2021
-----------------------) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2022, you should be born on or after 1st October 1997. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be born on or after October 1, 1992.
