Definitely yes having one year gap is not a big deal you can take admission in colleges which are accepting 10+2 marks as eligibility criteria.you can give common entrance test exam called cuet which provides admission to central universities and participating institutes.

It is not so hard you can crack it easily with dedication and effort you allow to choose a minimum of 3 subjects , there is general test based on the course and the university you choose. From different subjects/languages, the candidate can choose a maximum of 10 subjects from all three Sections.
