After completing Diploma in Electrical Engineering, one may opt for a variety of Vocational Courses being offered at Government ITIs and Private Institutions. However, these courses don’t guarantee a steep rise in the professional career and provide a limited scope.

It would be better if a Diploma Engineer opts for BE/BTech course through lateral entry scheme or appearing for AMIE. Graduation enables candidates to apply for various Executive level jobs emerging in Private & Public Sectors.

If Diploma Engineers are interested in switching to some other stream of study then a variety of options are available. One may join Power Generation Company and simultaneously pursue Graduation in any area of study thus enhancing the prospects of getting placed in Middle or Upper Management of any esteemed organization.
