Am I eligible for appearing kcet 2019 as I am not a kannada speaker and non native of karnataka?
Hello aspirant,
As per the eligibility criteria of KCET the candidate should have studied in karnataka for atleast 7 years from their 1st standard to 2nd PUC and they must have appeared for their sslc or their PUC exam from the respective examination boards of Karnataka.
If you want to enter into engineering or medical through examinations, other than KCET you can apply for the Comed-K examination if you have passed out of your 11th and 12th in karnataka and if any of your parent's have studied in karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years and in that case you must present your parent's educational certificates during counselling.
Hope this answer was helpful to you.
Please feel free to ask if you have any doubts.
