Dear aspirant,
Biotechnology is a fast growing discipline which is a combination of biology and technology together.
In order to pursue bsc biotechnology one should have passed 10+2 with either PCM/PCMB/BPC and aggregate should be 60 %.
I am sorry but commerce students cannot pursue biotechnology.
I hope this was useful.

Hello Aspirant
As per current education policy, you are not eligible to do Bsc biotechnology after completing your class 12th from commerce stream.
Basic eligibility for bsc biotechnology is:-
A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at both Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary (classes X and XII) levels. Biology, Physics and Chemistry should be studied as main subjects in class 12th with a minimum aggregate score of 60% in these three subjects.
Also as per new changes in policy, you can pursue two degrees at same time, you can pursue Bsc biotechnology from one place and second desired course(maybe in commerce as you asked about that) from another place.
I hope this information would be helpful for you.
All the best
