Am I eligible for Indian Economic Services after a MA in International and Development Economics or MA. in Economics and finance.

Given below are the eligibility details of Indian Economic Services:

  • The candidate must have studied post graduation degree with main subject economics or applied economics or business economics or econometrics. The candidate must have studied the subjects from a recognised University or from foreign university recognised by Indian government.

Hi, thank you for this. What I was confused about was if an MA in International and Development economics or Msc. in Economics and Finance equivalent to an MA.Economics when applying for IES.
