B oth were preferred equally. 2021 & future, Amrita has become more competitive among JEE aspirants (fiitjee,allen,narayana) of South India. All campuses in Amrita has limited intake and only merit students get in whereas in VIT student with any rank can get CSE in Last fee category for any rank.

VIT Bhopal is a newly established campus, so there are no placememnt records for same yet. But if you are getting Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham Comibatore or Amritapuri campuses then I would suggest you to go for it. Amrita has good placement records especially for CSE in the mentioned campuses. Many recruiters such as TCS, Wipro, Byju, Cisco, capgemini etc visit the campus with hefty packages.
