Correct Answer: 34%

Solution : Given,
The cost for a shopkeeper = Rs. 4,000
Marked Price = Rs. 8,400
Discount A = 25%.
Discount B = 15%
⇒ Final discount percentage $= 25 + 15 - \frac{25 \times 15}{100} = 36.25$%
And, Selling price of the article = $8400 \times (1 - 36.25$)% = Rs. 5355
Now,
Profit percentage = $\frac{5355 - 4000}{4000}\times 100 = 34$%
Hence, the correct answer is 34%.
