an IQ test was given to large group of boys in the age group of 18-20 years who scored an average of 62.5 marks .the same test was given to fresh group of 100 boys of se age group they scored an average of 64.5 marks with a standard deviation of 12.5 marks.experiment it fresh group has better IQ

It wouldn't be right to say that every one in the group of 100 people have a better IQ. Eventhough the the average IQ is higher than that of the larger population the standard deviation is quite large.
Which means there might be a person in the group of 100 with IQ of 64.5 - 12.5 .
