ANM or GNM which is the best course & how to get the admission for both?

ANN i.e. Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery is a diploma course of 18 months and GNM i.e General Nursing and Midwifery is 3 years & 6 month duration program.
Both of these course are good , you can opt any of them based on your interest like , By doing ANM you will do the treatment of children, women & old age people , and by doing GNM you will deal with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery.
Also , there are very good future scopes after doing these courses like , you can go for higher studies , You can also work at education Institutions, nursing tutor, ICU nurse & Infection control nurse.
You have to qualify the basic eligibility criteria for getting admission for these courses , Eligibility criteria for ANM is :
- 10+2 (from Arts or Science stream)
- Your score should be at least 40-50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Minimum age requirement is 17 years
- Only female students can apply for this course.
Eligibility criteria for GNM is:
- 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
- The age limit is minimum 17 years and maximum 30 years
