Girl candidate can join Defense Services after graduation through Combined Defense Services in the Officers Training Academy.
- After completing Graduation from a recognised university with a required aggregate can apply for CDS, which is held twice a year where in female candidate can apply for OTA till the age of 24 years
- For selection they need to clear Written and SSB round, further they would be Training in The OTA and would be commissioned for Short service (SSC) in Defense Services
