As per your question NO.
Students applying for the SASTRA University are going to be asked to enter their marks of their board
exams and their JEE Main Score( this is often optional).
They will then be sorted into order into two streams.
Stream 1: this is often where both the Board and therefore the JEE scores are considered.
Stream 2: this is often where Board exam marks alone are considered.
The list are going to be later released and therefore the applicants are going to be given their respective
ranks.
Counseling goes on in accordance with the ranks.

SASTRA is a deemed to be university .The admissions here are based strictly on merit.
There are 2 streams how one can get admission into the college .The 1 stream is based on marks scored in JEE Main and +2 .(70% seats)
Whereas 2 stream is purely based on 12th marks.(30% seats).
There is no entrance exam for this college.
