So, guessing you are asking about admission in DU which is a public/government university.

Earlier DU used to provide admission on the basis of 12th marks for most of the courses and some courses on the basis of its own entrance examination called DUET.

But now, there's no more admission on the basis of 12th marks

Now admission in DU will be through CUCET entrance examination and not 12th marks basis.  And for certain courses it will be through DUET.
