In order to participate for JoSAA counseling, a candidate has to first appear for the Joint Entrance Examination and qualify the same by scoring certain qualifying marks and also needs to meet the other criteria for eligibility such as:

• Be a citizen of India.
• Passed class 12 from a recognized board.
• Has an aggregate percentage of 75% in class 12.
• Cleared and qualified JEE Mains and Advanced( if applicable).
