It is impossible to get into any management College with 40 to 45 percentile as it indicates that most probably your cat score is in negative in at least one or two sections. the minimum required cutoff for most of the management colleges around 75 percentile and Celsius short on that there is no change that you can get into any decent management College.

It is really difficult for a good college with 40-45 percentile. All good colleges have cut offs more than 70 percentile because of the demand and reputation that these colleges have in the market. Good colleges come with a high cut off. So, 45 percentile will not get you a good college. You can write CAT next year or write MAT because MAT is conducted 4 times a year and if you want to join a good college, you don't have to waste another year to write CAT. Even MAT is accepted in all the top MBA colleges.
