Go through the summary of the chapter. It will help you remember the concepts that you learnt in that chapter. If there are any formulas involved, you can write all the important formulas in a small book and can refer to them anytime you wish to revise a chapter quickly. Also, you can take mock tests to know which topics you need to go through again.

Hello Sree,

The quickest and most effective method of revising before any competitive exam is to test your knowledge as much as possible. Solve the maximum number of sample papers that you can and keep checking for any mistakes. You can then go back to revising the topic in which you have any slight confusion and practice it again. Good Luck!

You can follow the following steps for the preparation of competitive exam:

Step1 : Go through the whole syllabus of particular exam in which you are interested.

Step2: Solve the mock question papers.

Step3 : Manage the time efficiently for particular subjects. Give more time to that subjects in which your concept is not much clear.

Step4: Know the marking process as you must concentrate more  on that section from which more questions will come.

Step5: Practice as much as possible because it helps to make your concepts clear. Revise the topic properly.

Good luck!

As per experts, competitive exams are the best way to churn out the best among all.

Its true that competitive exams are not that easy to ace it, but it is also not something impossible. With proper guidance and hardwork you can easily crack any competitive exam.

Be it any school or coaching institute, you will be given be taught what to learn, when to learn etc but never focus on teaching how to learn.

So it is very important to know how to learn and that too effectively. Here are few top tips and tricks to study and crack competitive exams.

  1. Make use of the Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov’s experiment

  2. Match your school timetable and home study schedule

  3. Avoid being too social(for the time being)

  4. Try Smart work rather than hard work

  5. Avoid studying at odd times:

  6. Read the content thoroughly

  7. Never study when you are sleepy
