any special entrance exam for engineering?

There are two ways through which one can take admission in engineering. The most important entrance exam for Engineering is Jee main, it is an entry to various Engineering, NIT, IIT colleges . For admission to IIT colleges you will have to qualify Jee main first then after qualifying Jee main , you will have to appear for jee advanced.
For admission to NIT colleges Jee main score is accepted.
For regular BE/ b Tech courses in various private and Government colleges Jee main and CET, one of the two scores is accepted.
Few universities conduct their own entrance exam for Engineering such as VIT Vellore conduct VITEEE entrance exam .
