Hi Venugopalreddy,
According to news sources, EWS reservation or economically weak section reservation has been adopted by the Telangana government. They are providing 10% reservation for EWS students starting from the academic year 2019-2020. EWS category reservation is not applicable for candidates belonging to any other category besides general category. Most of the candidates from general category whose family income is less than 8 lakhs per annum are eligible for EWS reservation. EWS reservation is exclusively for Gen. category students not OBC, SC, ST, or any other classes.
This quota is provided for dental, medical and government colleges. Along with the government's support, MCI has also allotted 10% quota for EWS in medical and dental colleges.
If you would like to read more about the updates in Telangana, I have provided a link at the bottom.
