Hello Satyajit, an electrical engineer from IEM kolkata gets an average package of 3-5 LPA through recruitment. If the company is a mass recruitor like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS etc package can be on an average 3-3.5 LPA whereas companies like PWC would offer a package of 7-8 LPA. Also if you land an internship in the 3rd year, chances of getting a pre placement offer from that company increases manifold and the package is slightly higher in that case than from direct campus recuitments in the final year
