Banking, Investments, Equity Research Analyst, Financial Accounting & Auditing, Finance K.P.O are the forte for B.Com. Graduates and is the basic qualification required for students who want to pursue a career as CA / ICWA / CS or M.Com./MBA.

Bachelor of Commerce-Honors In LAL BAHADUR SASHTRI COLLEGE, LUCKNOW

Under-Graduate courses in this college are affiliated with Lucknow University. B.Com is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students.

The course curriculum includes subjects like cost accounting, organizational behaviour and then one can specialize in fields like accounts and economics. The degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area.

The student is exposed to general business principles, quantitative analysis and organizational behaviour. The curriculum thus focuses both on academic subjects, such as statistics or economics, as well as practical business subjects, such as accountancy, law, management, marketing, finance, etc. Cooperative education programs are also common.

Eligibility:

10+2 passed in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level with either Commerce, Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects., but usually cut off is high for admission so aim for 85% and above in 12th boards.

For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility for above courses will be reduced by 5%.

Fee- Aggregate fee structure for 3 years is Rs. 1.80 Lacs.

Placements

Equipped with pre-placement preparation through numerous activities organized by the institute especially towards the end of II Sem. & the entire III Sem., the students are ready for their final placement. In this they are fully supported by the Placement Cell of the institute. The Placement Cell of the institute consists of a team consisting of persons who specialize in Management & IT placements. This team is responsible for developing associations with companies, inviting them for campus placements & conducting job interviews for students. Our students have been placed with reputed companies like Truepower, SBI , Indusind Bank, Indiamart, Blue dart, futures group etc.
