Every Government/Private/Deemed Medical College follows the Constituitional guidelines for reservation. EWS has 10%, OBC has 27%, SC has 15% and ST has 7.5%. The rest go to General Category. These are vertical reservations. Then there are Ex-servicemen, PWD quota which are horizontal reservations. Few States also have NCC and Sports Quota, Single girl child quota, etc confined to their respective States.
