The application form for Diploma in Hotel Management will soon be available on the official website. Do check out the site on a regular basis. I'm sure you must have gone through the eligibility criteria. Anyways, for admission into Diploma in Hotel Management course, a candidate must have a Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of best 5 papers. A total of 40 seats are available for intake. The college offers Bachelor of Hotel Management and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management. Both have a 4-year curriculum plan.

The total duration of the course will be 4 years. Pursing Hotel Management from Jamia Milia Islamia is a good choice. Firstly, the gigantic campus offers a lot of exposure to different verticals and helps in developing the personality. Secondly, the faculty at the campus is top notch and practice internationally teaching style which ultimately helps students to bag international offers. However, due to limited no. of seats, the competition is really high and one need to perform exceptionally well to get a seat. The total course fee will be somewhere around 1.4-2.0 lacs(depending on elective subjects and International exchange program).

The reservation of seats are as follows:30% seats are for Muslim applicants, 10% seats are for Women applicants who are Muslims, 10% seats are for  OBCs and STs who are Muslims. 5% for physically challenged persons, 5% for internal students of Jamia who have passed qualifying examination from Jamia schools as regular students, 5% for Kashmiri migrants. Reservation and relaxations under special provisions also available for candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, foreign candidates, outstanding players, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers.
